(1838) German philosopher, psychologist, and priest Franz Brentano was born. He had many theories on judgment, perception, and the difference between genetic and descriptive psychology.

(1875) German biochemist, physical chemist, and physician Leonor Michaelis was born. His research focused on embryology and discovered the Michaelis–Gutmann body in urinary tract infections.

(1947) American talk radio host and physiologist Laura Schlessinger is born. She is known for her talk show and for being a marriage and family therapist.
