Rumour: Calcium channel blockers, commonly used for high blood pressure, have no impact on dementia.

Truth: This is false. According to a Taiwanese study, calcium channel blockers, which are normally prescribed to lower blood pressure, have been shown to help reduce the risk of dementia.
