The Vitamin D Rumour

Rumour: There are no negative side effects of excess vitamin D supplementation.

Truth: This is false.

Although vitamin D is essential for the body to function, a study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition reported that excess vitamin D supplementation is linked to an increase in calcium levels in the blood and an increased risk of kidney stones.
