(1) (1907) Singaporean politician and professor Benjamin Seares is born. Along with serving as the second President of Singapore, he was also a well-known obstetrician and gynaecologist.

(2) (1942) The former club doctor of Bayern Munich, Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt, is born. He was known for applying homeopathic treatments to patients, focusing on knee pain and osteoarthritis.

(3) (1981)  Estonian geneticist Riin Tamm is born. She currently works at the University of Tartu and is known for popularizing science and advocating research into genetics to help with disease treatment.
