The Therapy for Obesity Rumour

Rumour: There is no psychological component of obesity, so a psychosocial therapy cannot help obese individuals lose weight.

The truth: This is false. Using a psychosocial therapy program along with traditional physical programs has shown to reduce BMI more effectively than physical programs alone.
