The Vasectomy Rumour

Rumour: Getting a vasectomy increases the risk of prostate cancer.

Truth: This is false.

According to a study published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology, getting a vasectomy does not increase the risk of prostate cancer or of mortality. Read more about vasectomy procedures here.
