Dr. Johnson takes a train that leaves from Halifax, Nova Scotia heading towards Vancouver, British Columbia at 120 km/h.

Three hours later, Dr. Smith takes a train that leaves Vancouver heading towards Halifax at 180 km/h.

Assume there are exactly 6000 kilometers between Vancouver and Halifax.

When the trains meet, which doctor is closer to Halifax?

Answer: 

Regardless of their individual speeds, both trains would be at the same spot when they meet, therefore both doctors are equally close to Halifax.
