Brain Teaser – July 1

A pharmacist has one 5 ml container and one 3 ml container. How can he measure exactly 1 ml of medicine without wasting any medicine?

Answer: First, the pharmacist fills in the 3 ml container and empties the content of it into a 5 ml container.

Then he fills in the 3 ml container again and pours the medicine from this container into the 5 ml container until it is full.

The medicine remaining in the 3 ml container is exactly 1 ml.
