耐力和阻力训练差异性影响心脏病的发病风险

体育活动对保持身体健康及预防心脏病至关重要。科研人员就耐力和力量运动在预防心脏病功效上的差异展开了研究。

体育活动构成人类健康生活的一个主要部分。体育活动使得人类有朝气、充满活力,能达到强健体格之目标。通常情况下,体育活动分成两大类:心肺训练和力量训练。心肺训练呈动态方式,锻炼人体的耐力,相较力量训练,心肺训练消耗机体更多的热量。然而,力量训练同等重要,该训练方式的重要性在于构建机体中与更高水平代谢相关的肌肉群。

尽管上述两大类型的体育活动存在明显差异,但两者在功效上也有一定程度的相同之处。很明显,两者均能降低心脏病的发病风险,正是基于这一前提,健康专家提倡进行体育活动以预防心脏病的发生。

尽管保持积极的生活方式对预防中风及心脏病极为有益,但这一理念的科学依据仍不清晰。心肺或力量训练,哪一种方式更有利于心脏保健?两者有无差异?病患们应聚焦何种方式?

阻力训练与心脏病预防的关联度更强

在秘鲁利马召开的2018年ACC拉丁美洲大会上报告的一项新的研究对上述问题进行了探究。科研人员发现,静态活动(例如,力量或阻力训练)更显著有益于心脏保健,但这并不意味着心肺训练无益。相反,上述两种训练方式在健身方面的功效上存在巨大差异,然而,通过负重以锻炼肌肉的训练方式与心脏病预防的关联度更强。

上述研究团队使用了在2005至2006年间开展的全国健康与营养普查所获得的数据,该项普查对象包括4086名美国人,他们自行报告本人的体育活动量及其类型。采用风险因子如高血压、超重、糖尿病及高胆固醇对普查数据进行分析,科研人员在分析中还考虑到年龄、种族、性别和吸烟状况等因素。普查对象按年龄分组如下:21-44岁,45岁以上。研究团队在美国心脏病学会主办的一次新闻发布会上对他们获得的研究结果进行了分析讨论。

在年轻和年长群体中,参与两大类型体育活动的人数相当

所有普查对象中,28%的年轻人和21%的年长者从事心肺训练,而36%的年轻人和25%的年长者进行力量或阻力训练。两种训练方式与基于风险因子评估的心脏病发病率下降30-70%均存在关联。很明显,上述关联度在年轻人群体中表现更强。

年轻和年长群体中参与两种类型体育活动的百分比相当,这是一个阳性结果。重要的是,研究项目观察到两种活动类型无优劣之分,因为两者均能为健身带来不同的益处。进一步研究应深入鉴别两者的功效,同时,阐述两者在预防心脏病上的具体作用机制。
